Styled Shoot at All Saints Chapel

At All Saints Chapel, this boho styled shoot strives to showcase unexpected neutrals in a way that’s attainable for any couple. Photographer Jessica Mason captured the stunning, sweeping architecture of the chapel which sits in Raleigh, NC. Along with Samantha Jimenez of All Saints Chapel and Stephanie Kavanagh at Gracefully Created, we planned this styled bridal shoot. The goal was to take a different approach to boho wedding style than the all-vibrant tones we’ve all seen before. This neutral theme was inspired by the blooms of late summer. There’s no need to be afraid of neutrals! Utilizing a range of unexpected pops of white shades, this styled shoot shows you don’t have to stick strictly to colors to get that unique boho look.

This boho styled shoot also shows where hints of unexpected neutrals can be added to your big day without completely overwhelming your floral or decor design. Neutrals on your wedding day doesn’t have to be gaudy, tacky or gimmicky. Neutrals can be beautiful, elegant, unique and timeless.

This color palette suited All Saints Chapel's vibrant woodwork. A range of white, brown, sunlight and stain glass reflections carry through the setting. The natural yet elevated boho wedding look has just a touch of glam. All Saints' historical, renovated chapel provided just the right mix of elegance – with its white walls and high ceilings – and rustic, thanks to wooden floors and accents.

This downtown wedding venue was built in the 1870s by Reverend Oertel as a church. In 2006, developer Greg Hatem beautifully restored the property. He transformed it into the downtown venue that it is today!

The photos tell the story of a whimsical love story in the heart of North Carolina. All Saints' space is updated with a getting-ready space for the bride and bridesmaids. Outside on a delicate front entrance, the bride poses in a fitted New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh gown.

Jessica's photography style is warm and vibrant. When photographing brides, she focuses on creating a relaxed and comfortable environment for them. Jessica's style captured both neutral tones and playful light during this styled shoot at All Saints Chapel. Gracefully Created designed a moveable floral arbor made of greenery and flowers in pink and white tones. The bride’s bouquet also incorporated these same colors.

Floral design added pops of light pink, white and green to tie in elegance and add to the boho theme.

It’s hard to image a more fitting setting for this boho styled shoot than All Saints Chapel's downtown position. Therefore, the altar backdrop was simple yet impactful. Can you imagine saying “I do” with the jaw-dropping, stain glass windows behind you?
