Soft Hues & Rustic Views: Winter Wedding Inspiration

Sunlight trickles through Chatham Station’s windows on a crisp day in January, coaxed forth by winter’s mild temperatures. Gentle shade casts over a gathering of imaginary guests on the neighboring patio.

The festivities begin against Chatham Station's signature brick wall. Then, an alfresco cocktail hour takes place on the patio. Dinner and dancing take place inside the historic building.

Chatham Station's building is a natural extension of the town's past life. There are two getting-ready suites on the property, perfect for your wedding day.

Gray and brick accents give Chatham Station a “country chic” personality. This sets Chatham apart from other industrial venues in the Piedmont that lean more traditional.

Because the venue has a lot of existing brick, we wanted to make sure this winter-focused design would feel natural in the space. These moodier elements, combined with the venue’s modern feel, pair well with clean flowers from Leslie Ivey Designs. Plus, these tones complement the sweet, trendiness of the dress.

This whimsical style plays right into Leslie Ivey Design’s wheelhouse. Leslie excels at creating lush arrangements full of color and texture. Low, dish-like vessels hold overflowing meadows giving the feel of a container garden.

Pairing this romantic decor with Chatham's rustic and contemporary spaces alike achieves a look that’s both current and timeless. Against this backdrop, Alisha Cleveland Photography captures authentic moments of affection in images that will remain cherished decades after the wedding day.
