Robert proposed to Rachel while the couple was celebrating her birthday in 2022. The couple married at Chateau des Fleures in Angier on November 18, 2023, after hiring Forget Me Knot coordinator Kayla Bullock to organize their big day. Kayla worked closely with Rachel and Robert to plan a celebration honoring their partnership.
A friend, Alice Hudson, officiated the ceremony under the shade of the Chateau's gazebo.
DJ Patrick Dorsett of Southern Entertainment played during the outdoor ceremony and the reception. Patrick was wonderfully helpful and very accommodating. He has an eclectic portfolio and played beautiful music!
Kayla helped hone in on a caterer, florist, and other essential vendors that the couple needed. The pair booked Chateau des Fleures in Angier. It was a perfect fit for their reception of 80.
They crossed all walks of life and were truly honored that their guests arrived ready to celebrate. The couple served wedding cake adorned with layers of fruit along with tartlets and macaroons.
Dragonfly Florist supplied bright arrangements to decorate the space. Dragonfly was incredibly accommodating, flexible and helpful. Rachel loves wildflowers, so their wedding colors were eclectic. Dragonfly's signature whimsical style perfectly complemented the dramatic, airy space inside Chateau des Fleures.
The couple ended their evening with a sparkler send off with most of their guests.
