Steps away from downtown Pinehurst's premiere golf courses, shopping, and restaurants sits The Fair Barn. This reclaimed 1917 building provides an ultra-modern, utterly chic location for the not-so-quite-traditional couple. The Fair Barn provides a space for events all year round.
The Fair Barn overlooks an equestrian horse track. It has soaring ceilings and wooden trusses, making it an ideal venue for intimate weddings along with rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, farewell brunches, and showers. The boutique barn retains much of its 1900s charm and original details, like its very recognizable mid-century façade.
If you want to give your guests a true Pinehurst experience, you couldn't get better than The Fair Barn.
The barn is best suited for gatherings of up to 500 guests. The barn is split into two flexible areas: an open-air patio and an indoor barn. Larger receptions are easily accommodated.
And if the view wasn't enough of a draw, the barn's convenience comes in at a close second. It has the ultimate wedding suite. Here, couples can enjoy a spacious getting ready room. This is where your wedding party can prep just steps away from the ceremony site on the big day.
To make the most of the barn's view, we worked with the barn staff to use spaces in a way that reflects the best flow and guest experience for events.
The design was fun, modern, and vibrant. Balance and interest was created through juxtaposition - the bright colors of the florals, wood and black details, the detailed and heavily unique bridal gown with a clean hairstyle.
Jordan Volpert of Florals and Decor by Jordan Volpert chose a bright color palette of yellows, mauvy pinks, and chartreuse to enhance the barn's mod look. Jordan leaned into an airy design with plenty of texture. These blooms embrace her signature whimsical style.
Jordan plays up the industrial vibe with greenery that climbs the delicate ceremony setup. Jordan also decorated the coffee truck, a special touch that added to the eclectic look.
Raleigh coffee truck Clyde's Co. made iced coffees for everyone at the shoot. It was so fresh and aligned perfectly with our vision.
This styled wedding was captured by Him Her Photo. They managed photographing with a storm looming in the background. They fully embraced the clouds, playing with silhouettes created by rays and shade, which added a funky twist on everything.
They harnessed as much of the natural light as possible, adopting a photography style that's growing in popularity.
Maggie models an A-line by New York Bride and Groom. The dress shows off a playful, trendy option. It was so elegant and made her feel so American sweetheart chic. We loved it!
Maggie's tousled updo by Britnye Shore of The Bardot was the perfect choice for a breezy day at the barn. It also reflects a growing trend in weddings. For the longest time updos felt like a 1990s prom, but they're becoming more common. They allow brides to feel beautiful and like themselves. Maggie's makeup reflects a youthful vibe with a natural glam finish. An edgy eye with gold shadow, bold lashes and liner makes her eyes pop.
Dressed to the nines and taking part in the photo shoot, it became clear why so many people choose this location for their special day. This venues holds a special place in the heart of the Pinehurst community, and as soon as you step onsite, you can sense a palpable shift in the atmosphere.
