Megan & Justin at The Fair Barn

Updated: Feb 9, 2021

One of the best things about spring weddings is the beautiful, warm colors of the season and how they're incorporated into the ceremony and reception. Megan and Justin's wedding at the Fair Barn was full of light from the bridesmaids dresses to the vibrant spring blooms.

Megan's day began in her bridal suite, surrounded by her mother, and of course, her bridesmaids! After sharing a few laughs and having their hair and makeup done, the bridal party helped Megan into her gown - a gorgeous sweetheart neckline with lace overlay and a full satin skirt.

Each of Megan's bridesmaids wore silver or gold gowns with a varying neckline. The bold color of the gowns added a springy feel and complemented Megan perfectly. Their bouquets were made up of white blooms interspersed with greenery. Justin and his groomsmen looked handsome in classic black suits with white boutonnieres and blue ties - except for Justin, who stood out in an ivory tie.

The ceremony was held inside the Village Chapel, which was transformed by an altar featuring white linens, an abundance of candles and light colored blooms similar to Megan's bouquet. As guests filled into the reception, the wedding party set out for a few photos in the daylight.

The reception was full of celebration from the moment it started. Megan and Justin kicked off the night with their first dance as a married couple, and then kept the celebrations going as they invited their friends and family to join in. They paused only for dinner and wedding cake, which was a beautiful two-tiered creation with subtle blooms separating each tier. The couple continued to dance the night away with their loved ones until it was time for them to depart under glow sticks, where they sealed the night with a kiss. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. West!
