Lindsay & Eric at Carolina Yacht Club

With temperatures gradually rising and spring calling our names, what could be better than a wedding that highlights a gorgeous landscape and a beautiful beach? Lindsay and Eric's wedding at the Carolina Yacht Club showcases the nautical venue’s coastal landscape and grounds as well as the screened-in reception hall!

The couple began their day inside. After hair and makeup, and with the help of her bridesmaids, Lindsay stepped into her gown – an elegant, plunging neckline with an open back and lace detailing. The gown’s cascading lace made Lindsay look even more ethereal as she floated down the aisle. Her bridesmaids added a touch of sophisticated elegance in shades of blue gowns that not only complemented Lindsay, but Eric and his groomsmen as well! Their timeless blue suits elevated the space and exuded class. Lindsay and her bridesmaids’ bouquets were bursting with fresh greenery interspersed with white blooms.

The ceremony was bathed in natural light pouring in from the club's top balcony. Two floral arrangements of greenery and blooms stood on either side of the altar framing the couple as they recited their vows and said their “I do’s.” After the ceremony, the wedding party and guests were treated to an outdoor cocktail hour – a perfect opportunity to take in and appreciate the venue’s rolling dunes, spacious beaches, and beautiful waves.

While the guests soaked up the surroundings, the screened-in porch of the club was transformed for the reception. Square and rectangular tables dressed in ivory linens were topped with glass votives surrounded by abundant arrangements of greenery. Two long tables showcased a long strand of greenery interspersed with small candles and light blooms for a pop of color. After a delicious dinner, Lindsay and Eric's loved ones were treated to cake for dessert! A two tier creation with delicate detailing, the cake was perfect for the newlyweds.

The conclusion of dinner and desserts brought about a night full of celebration under the romantic glow of intricate string lights hanging overhead. Lindsay and Eric danced the night away with their loved ones, bringing the perfect day to an even more perfect ending. When it was time for the couple to depart from the celebrations, they exited the club under an archway of flower petals thrown by their guests. Congratulations to Lindsay and Eric!
