Kaitlyn & Nathan's Joyful Summer Wedding

Kaitlyn and Nathan started their relationship in 2022. When they chose to get married, Forget Me Knot assisted them in planning an outdoor wedding in Maiden, NC, allowing them to bring together cherished members of their community for an intimate ceremony.

Following two years of dating, the couple chose to get married. Nathan proposed in January 2024 and additionally surprised Kaitlyn with an engagement party. It was an incredibly sweet gesture.

The wedding on June 13, 2025, was organized by Kayla from Forget Me Knot. Kayla assisted the couple in planning an event that was heavily inspired by their relationship.

Kayla helped to ensure that their wedding day took place without any added stress. She brought together personal details that Kaitlyn and Nathan wanted, from the ceremony format to contributions from loved ones.

Kaitlyn's wedding dress, featuring whimsical details, was perfectly suited to the couple's first touch in a building with industrial tones.

The idea of community was a central theme of the wedding. A host of friends, loved ones and family came together to honor the couple.

Hello Gorgeous Beauty Lounge matched a hairstyle and makeup to her flowing, floral look. Floral arrangements sourced from local shops covered the altar at the Providence Cotton Mill. Their work complemented the already-gorgeous industrial environment.

Their officiant's words were among our favorite details of the wedding day.

Photographer, Callaghan Photography, captured everything from emotional moments at the altar to the lively reception.

Light blue and ivory table settings decorated the seated reception before guests danced the night away to Split Second Sound DJ at the reception. Every part of the event was very personal and special to them.

This event was about sharing their love with their community.

The event was catered by Vita Da Pizza.

So many memorable moments marked the day for Kaitlyn and Nathan. Hearing cheers from loved ones as they entered the mill was one of our favorites. We also loved the thoughtful toasts and for them to share the day with family members.
