Delicate light fixtures and art nouveau-inspired decor greet visitors inside the The Retreat. The farm has undergone a transformation inside and out since it was bought in 2017. Now, wedding parties gather and prep in two suites. The barn is just one part of Haven Farm, a new Knightdale, NC wedding venue with a timeless air.
The home – also called The Homestead – is just one element of Haven Farm, Knightdale’s elegant event venue. The owners were looking for a way to give back to their community before purchasing the land in 2017. Haven Farm opened for events in summer 2023. The Homestead sits by The Retreat side of the property. and The Lounge, a house inspired by the style of vintage conservatories yet finished with modern light fixtures and a polished look.
Forget Me Knot orchestrated this styled black-tie shoot to take advantage of each space at Haven Farm. Haven Farm was the perfect backdrop. The historic yet timeless Retreat was an absolute vision for the bride's shots.
The addition of rusty orange makes for an updated take on a traditional black and white color scheme. The Retreat’s architecture paired with modern styling and decor sets the scene for vintage romance to meet the modern day.
