Mystic Farm & Distillery’s minimal backdrop bends to many color palettes and themes, whether you prefer neutral with subtle pops of color or a bolder look that thoroughly transforms the space.
In addition to The Distillery Room, the venue offers an indoor space, a 3800-square-foot area. The venue has two ponds and open fields where wedding parties can feel hidden from the suburban life of Durham. There’s also an ethereal outdoor patio (perfect for cocktail hours). Together, these spaces offer a beautifully composed backdrop for the color scheme of this styled wedding.
Muted tones are one of our favorite choices for a wedding. It can work for almost any season and with almost any accent color. For the bride, we decided to keep her very elegant, simple and modern.
Floral arrangements by FauxReal Flowers pop against the flowing skirt of a Mori Lee dress from luxury dress shop New York Bride & Groom Raleigh. A leafy lace pattern embellishes a plunging V-neck and the bodice.
We were going for an effortlessly chic look. Something that felt very European, without any heavy fabrics or overwhelming details.
Kayla's delicate makeup and soft updo by Stolochi Makeup & Hair gracefully accentuate her natural beauty. Inspired by the European countryside, we tied in a mix of textures and jewel tones to give the modern space a sense of vintage flair.

Our vision was realized thanks to the talents of the entire vendor team. While a planner may plan and coordinate the event, it really does take a collaborative effort to bring the vision to life.
