Eggplant Wedding Details at The Stockroom

forgetmeknotnc

Several years before Charles and Marylea said their vows during an indoor wedding ceremony at The Stockroom at 230, the couple met in 2019. They immediately hit it off. They were both living in California at the time. Nearly four years later, Charles popped the question. Keep reading to learn more about Charles and Marylea's romantic fall wedding with purple and eggplant details at The Stockroom in Raleigh.

Charles and Marylea had a special connection with The Stockroom property in Raleigh. They toured several potential North Carolina wedding venues but none seemed to measure up to The Stockroom's elegance, charm and amenities. The Stockroom's entire team, from the sales team to the wait staff, all played a role in making their special day as flawless as it was.

Once they decided on The Stockroom, Charles and Marylea moved forward with help from wedding coordinator Kayla of Forget Me Knot. Thanks to Kayla, the couple planned their special day all the way from New York.

Since they were going to be married on September 28, Charles and Marylea felt like an indoor, early-fall wedding ceremony decorated with big blooms was a natural fit. Marylea's mom provided the perfect purple floral arrangements to accentuate the wedding’s navy, white and lavender color scheme.

Everyone still talks about the flowers at their wedding and we are still in awe.

Despite happy tears, Marylea's makeup remained pristine throughout the day and night thanks to her maid of honor. We can’t imagine there would be any one else that she would have wanted to start her wedding day with.

Charles and Marylea exchanged vows in an indoor ceremony by the windows at The Stockroom. A friend created the perfect atmosphere for their "I do's" by playing songs chosen by the couple. A table decorated with large blooms and purple flowers served as the backdrop for their ceremony. The program was tailored specifically for them.

All the songs they chose meant something to them and their relationship.

Celebrations continued into the indoor reception, where guests enjoyed a delicious dinner catered by Rocky Top while sitting at tables adorned with napkins from Curated Events and floral centerpieces. Later in the evening, a wedding cake baked by Sugar Euphoria gave guests a sugar rush to dance the night away.

The night ended with a fiberoptic send-off, but not before Charles and Marylea shared a dance, just the two of them, to their favorite song.

It was so perfect and emotional. They were able to just take it all in and share a quiet moment together.
