Delany & Michael at The Citrus Beach Club

The crisp, warm late-summer air and coastal landscape of the Citrus Beach Club came together in perfect harmony for Delany and Michael’s September wedding. Vibrant summer blooms added warmth and pops of color to the gorgeous Carolina beachside house, which sits oceanfront in the town of Ocean Isle Beach.

Delany and Michael began their fairytale day inside the luxurious home. With the help of her bridesmaids, Delany transformed into the most beautiful bride, down to the finest details. Her effortlessly elegant gown was sleek and had a sweetheart neckline. Delany and her bridesmaids carried bouquets made up of white, light pink, and green blooms that emanated warmth and provided a nice contrast against the bridesmaids’ dresses of a dark teal tone. Michael and his groomsmen stayed true to the theme in their suits in grey as well.

The ceremony was held on Ocean Isle's serene beach. Greenery arranged at the altar appeared even more vibrant with the Citrus Beach Club's coastal blue landscape in the background. After Delany and Michael said their “I do’s”, the manicured house was transformed to hold the reception.

Tables dressed in white linens topped with short candles illuminated the space, and neutral floral arrangements similar to those used in the ceremony interspersed with greenery and gold accents gave the reception an intimate, elegant feel. Billowing string market lights hung from the balcony overhead and encompassed the space in a romantic glow.

The guests were treated to a delicious dinner catered by Coastal Catering. The couple’s loved ones were treated to an assortment of desserts. Many toasts were made, laughs and memories were shared, and tears were shed as Delany and Michael celebrated their love with their friends and family. No wedding is complete without a night of dancing, and these newlyweds really lit up the dance floor (thanks to their glowsticks!). As the night of celebrations came to a close, Delany and Michael sealed their fairytale day with a glowing kiss. Cheers to the Mays!
