Brian & Terren's Intimate Coastal Affair

Updated: Jul 16

Brian and Terren married at the Pineapple Beach Club in Ocean Isle Beach on April 29, 2023 after hiring Forget Me Knot to do the heavy lifting to organize their big day. We worked closely with Brian and Terren to coordinate a celebration honoring their partnership.

They were very intentional about wanting to avoid the common "man and wife" connotation throughout the day. As such, they asked their officiant to speak about them as individuals and as partners. Brian's friend officiated the ceremony under the shade of the house.

DJ Craig played during the outdoor ceremony. Craig was wonderfully helpful and very accommodating. He has an eclectic portfolio and played beautiful music!

We helped hone in on a caterer, party rental supplier, florist and other essential vendors that they couple needed. They came into the wedding planning process with little visions and wanted to rely heavily on a coordinator. We helped the pair book The Pineapple Beach Club in Ocean Isle. While the pair had originally envisioned a large wedding inviting all of their out-of-town relatives, they eventually decided on a paired down guest list, and the Pineapple Beach Club was a perfect fit for their wedding.

They crossed all walks of life and were truly honored that their guests arrived ready to celebrate. The couple served a three tier wedding cake in a variety of flavors.

Briar Patch supplied bright arrangements to decorate the space. Briar Patch was incredibly accommodating, flexible and helpful. Terren loves wildflowers, so their wedding colors were eclectic. Briar Patch's signature whimsical style perfectly complemented the bright, airy space of The Pineapple Beach Club.
