An Emerald, Romantic Fall Wedding

Rebecca and Thomas got married at Forest Hall at Chatham Mills in Pittsboro on October 4, 2025. We helped organize a simple, clean and contemporary event they had dreamed of.

The couple first met in 2020 and grew closer through the years.

Thomas asked Rebecca to marry him in August 2024 after a weekend of kayaking and baseball games.

The next step was finding vendors who could bring their vision into reality. You want to hire efficient vendors and should know you want them to be part of your day from your initial conversation. They should be extremely knowledgeable about the wedding industry and truly save you a lot of time, money and stress!

Rebecca and Thomas chose their favorite historic venue – Forest Hall at Chatham Mills in Pittsboro. We love the wooden interior, high ceilings and clean, industrial vibe of the wedding venue. Their vendors helped assemble the simple, terracotta and emerald toned wedding they had envisioned. They certainly achieved a clean, modern look.

Some of the amazing vendors who brought their dream wedding to life included 39 West Catering. Justine and her venue staff were a joy to work with. They were super understanding and flexible along the way. The food was delicious, and Greg and his staff were so kind and helpful from beginning to end.

The couple and their vendors flawlessly executed a perfect wedding day. Our favorite moment was when Rebecca and Thomas got to spend a few quiet moments in The Sycamore restaurant together to privately read their vows.

The bride's grandmother and aunt made their wedding cake. An elegant, two-tier white cake, it carried on the rustic theme of the evening.

Our advice for newly engaged couples is to enjoy every moment. Your wedding day will fly by so fast, so don’t worry about the little details and just be present. Be present with your new partner and just enjoy the party.
