Allison + Joel: A Romantic, Moody Wedding with Pops of Black

Learning the story of this happy couple’s journey is like setting foot in a modern fairy tale. Allison first met Joel at a concert through mutual friends. Allison says she felt an instant connection with Joel. Less than a year later, they got engaged.

The couple turned to Forget Me Knot to organize a romantic, moody soiree. Our dedication allowed them to relax and fully enjoy their special day.

Additionally, the couple hired Empire Eats for their reception. The food and service were amazing during the wedding. The emotional day turned out beautifully. They wanted their wedding to be a reflection of them…they wanted a space for their fairy tale to come true.

Colleen's Culinary Creations created a beautiful cake featuring s'mores and marshmallow melting down the side.

The couple were married on November 10, 2023, at All Saints Chapel, a refurbished church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Right after the wedding ceremony, they took part in a private bubble exit with only their bridal party accompanying them.

Allison and Joel looked stunning in their wedding attire. Details throughout the event added pops of black and white to the neutral color palette. The pair also incorporated DIY decor and signage.
